Wedding Photography Melbourne, is portrait photographer Scott Morton’s showcase website of family, people and wedding reportage.
Scott spent ten years working as a commercial photographer, shooting product, corporate portraiture, advertising launches, architecture and shots for graphic design layout. He has vast experience in the graphics and pre-press industry and is a colour expert, having worked in proofing and press approval for countless commercial print and advertising clients.
Scott’s love affair with wedding photography was born quite by accident about five years ago, after a close friend asked him to shoot her wedding in the beautiful parks of Melbourne. He found magic everywhere, finding passion in the social and creative elements a wedding inherently possesses.
“I love the excitement, emotion and spontaneous nature of a wedding. I love being a part of the family for a day and thrive on the goodwill and hope that this generates. My mission is to capture the light that carries all that emotion and excitement to my lens. Most of all I want to capture the love, leaving a couple be, to encapsulate imagery full of joy and tenderness.”
Scott works from a home office and welcomes prospective couples to visit his family at their convenience for a folio viewing.
