Scott’s love affair with wedding photography was born quite by accident around eight years ago. A close friend asked him to shoot her wedding in the beautiful parks of Melbourne. He found passion & magic everywhere. The social and creative elements a wedding inherently possesses had grabbed his heart. Scott has shot many hundreds of weddings since. The love affair continues.
“I love the excitement, emotion and spontaneous nature of a wedding. I love being a part of the family for a day. I thrive on the goodwill and hope that this generates. My mission as a photographer, is to capture the light that carries all that emotion and excitement through my lens. Most of all, my aim is to capture the feelings that you feel, so you can relive them later. I will leave you to yourselves. I will be invisible. We will see your joy and tenderness together in your photos.”
All your photographic lighting will be done off camera. Scott uses light softening tools such as beauty dishes and softboxes. Powerful lighting that can dim the sun and yet be as subtle as a window. I will light you in 3 dimensions inside or out. Whenever I can, I will use no additional light. I will keep the ambience & the mood.
